Hey Kit, I will be seeing you at RCR Denver in a few weeks! So excited! I just had a question. I am re-reading Rock Chick. And I noticed a few things which I didnt notice any one of the 20+ times I've read this amazing book. Lee calls Hank to tell him he and Indy are together and later Lee and Hank were exchanging glances and then Lee put his arm around Indy. What was that about? Did Hank have feelings for Indy?

Okay, to be honest, it's been a LOOOOOONG time since I spent time with Lee and Indy in ROCK CHICK so I can't say I remember precisely the scene you're talking about.
What I can say is that no, Hank never had any feelings for Indy. I'd have to reread the book to get back into the mind of Lee to understand what he was trying to communicate to Hank, but it wasn't proprietary (well, it was, I'm sure, but just generally, not making a point to Hank - he'd be communicating something else, I just don't remember what it is).
Hope that at least semi-answers your question!

I just wish I could meet some badass alpha males that aren't total jerks :) I just finished Own the Wind and I don't remember Elvira ever having a man...where did he come from?? Do we get to learn how she met her man because that girl is a wild card and I have no clue how she got a hot badass cop :)

I absolutely love your books! They literally keep me going when I have good days, bad days and everything in between. Quick question though, I've read almost half of your stories and have yet to read the other half. So if my question is in the other half of the books forgive me. But are there any books with a female lead of color (black, Hispanic, asian, native american)?
