How do you get inspired to write?

Tee O'Fallon Mostly, my ideas just come to me at odd times. I could be watching a movie or a TV show, and come up with a spin on some tiny aspect of the show I just watched. Or I might come up with an idea because of something I read about on the news, or something that happens at work. I see something in nature that gives me a cool idea, or something in my parents' past, such that the book could have links to a noteworthy even in their history 50 years ago.
