How do you stay motivated? Do you ever feel inferior to big name authors, ie Stephanie Meyers, John Green?

Motivation is tricky, but I try to set some sort of personal deadline (external if at all possible) and stick to it. Making yourself accountable to writer friends is helpful too.
Every author has something (or someone) to be jealous of, but every career path is different, no one has a completely smooth ride, and the only way to get where I want to be is to keep working hard and writing the best books I can.
