1 writing, when it's going well, is like being lost in abook you love- that feeling X10.
2 getting feedback from readers who really connected with the book.
That's what it's about, not sales or festivals or social media, though things are a lot of fun.

You wanted the response of a total broken heart? D: literally cried myself to sleep! Was so devastated and in denial. Thanks for being the first author to make me react like that, I really became attached to the characters, I felt like I was there. With Sam. Being in that storm. Just everything.
