Jim Harrison, who just passed away, exemplifies so much that is good about the world. His stories are almost always centered around forests and contain forest minded characters. I was not aware of Jim Harrison, but now that you have brought him to my attention, I shall read his main works. Like you, I value the allure of the forest, and the works of the forest mind.
