How do you deal with writer’s block?

Misty Nickels I stop writing for a while. While I am on a writing break, I read a lot. Some of my ideas come from reading. I will read something and think about how well the book was written, how the story flowed, and how the characters interacted with one another. I will always start thinking about my own book and how my characters interact, then an idea usually just pops into my head. That is why I read in between. I believe reading wakes up the imagination and gets those creative juices flowing!
