Nikita
Nikita asked Sean Taylor:

How did your characters from 'Your Smallest Bones' come to you?

Sean Taylor I want my characters built from collections of traits I find highly telling of their human nature as well as traits that make them incredibly unique. It's important that readers can relate to them as well as aspire to know or become as multidimensional as they are.
I also believe they must reflect their justifications from more than one perspective.
Never rush to know a character, they must ascend commonality because of your close relationship, the longer you study them in your mind the more valuable they become to the reader. I once wrote write about your characters as if you love them. If you don't love them you'll never see them from angles worth writing.

Or at the end of it all, my characters are who I want to be walking my city streets. We are capable of such variety in personality and so few seem to seek it out. I just want a world with more personality.

I'm not sure if that answered your question, but thanks for asking, and thanks for reading! If you have any other questions feel free to ask!
