Hi Amy, I just read The Bird and the Sword and I love it. Your book remind me again why I love reading fantasy and romance. I love that you wrote a fantasy novel. It's beautiful and thank you for writing another amazing book. So, I want to ask what kind of books do you like to read on your spare time? I would love some recommendations. Both fiction and non fic. thank you and stay healthy :)

I just read Radiance by Grace Draven - great fantasy and romance. I loved Me Before You by Jo Jo Moyes. I also love a good historical, like The Winds of War by Herman Wouk, or the oldies but goodies like The Scarlet Pimpernel. I really don't have a preference to genre as long as it has a love story at the core (ha ha, I can't help myself). It has to be well-written and originality is always nicel

Amy, the cover of What the Wind Knows is gorgeous. I don't know how you feel, but I'm really tired of the covers where the female protagonist(s) has her back to the viewer or even has her head missing? So I was so glad to see this full portrait of a beautiful but enigmatic woman. Was this your idea? If so, did you have any problems getting Lake Union's approval?

I just finished reading Making Faces and I'm amazed by how wonderful that was. You really are amazingly talented, and you don't create fantasies as much as you create beauty out of really terrible realities, which is something we all could relate to and could easily find in our own different stories. Thank you for making me so happy, hopeful and delighted. ^^
