What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Mary Alice Monroe One of the best things about being a writer is when one of my books inspires a reader to want to visit the real setting of the novel, or when one of my books helps a reader fall back in love with reading again, or when one of my books inspires the reader to learn more about the wild animal that serves as a backdrop in my story. It's the power of storytelling in full effect. And it's truly an honor and privilege every time I am able to publish another novel. I want my books to be a force for good.
