Thanks for your question. I guess I have several answers that all interlock...

I've always written - even as a kid, writing was the thing I enjoyed most after reading. I wanted to be a journalist when I grew up, but after a short internship on a small local paper, I found I wasn't much good at reporting facts - I preferred making things up!

Two years ago I discovered fanfiction and yes - that's when the words started to flow. Someone who read my fanfic said, "you should write your own stories" - so I did! The rest you know :)
