I am 17. Will this book be too childish for me? What is the recommended age for this book?

The main protagonist is young in the first few books, but she grows up with the series (in the most recent S.P she's in her 20s)
They are a great read, very funny, highly entertaining and I'd defy anyone not to fall in love with Skulduggery!
