What started your path into writing? What made you decide to write novels vs. short stories? I just received the ARC *If I was Your Girl* in the mail this morning and my wife is super excited to read it! I'm also looking to branch our reading shelves to many categories and allow my nieces & nephews to have a variety of knowledge so I look forward to your other stories soon! When can we expect them to arrive in stores?

The real answer is that I'm not much good at anything besides this, drawing, and music, and I abandoned the latter two immediately after high school. I hope you liked the book! And yes, I've got lots of work coming out. :)

So I am straight and was looking for books and your title piqued my interest. Saying that I really enjoyed it. I could relate to some of the characters in not understanding Amanda fully and having questions about her. I loved that her mom supported her through it all. I could only imagine how hard it is to go through all that and not fully understand what's going on but to have support must help. ?

Hi! Reading 'If I Was Your Girl' and 'Birthday,' I noticed that both Morgan and Amanda's dads were traditionally masculine guys who had trouble accepting their daughters' gender identities but then ended up coming around and supporting them. It's a nice change utterly unsupportive most dads of transgender characters are, and I was wondering since the arcs had some similarities if your dad was kind of similar? :)
