Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Gena Thomas Serving as a missionary in Northern Mexico for over four years, my husband and I started serving as youth pastors in a neighborhood called Mission. Mission is made up of make-shift houses, some of cardboard and tin. We were confronted with a level of poverty we did not know how to respond well to. So I signed up for graduate school, studying international development through Eastern University. This book is all about merging what I learned in school to what I saw before me as a missionary.
