so happy to hear that you have enjoyed Palace. I did a lot of research – took me a long time. I read many versions of the Mahabharat, as well, as did research on the period. And the lifestyle of the people of the period. and I read novels such as Yagnaseni and Mrityunjaya which retell the story in unique ways.

I just read your book the Palace of Illusions. I am Indian and Hindu and I have grown up with the story of Mahabharata, just like you said you had in your introduction. Reading this has changed my entire perspective on the epic tale. I still have goosebumps from reading it. How did you get this idea to write Draupadi's viewpoint in the Mahabharata?
