Wendy Higgins That is so cool - thank you! I actually did not have a single inspiration. I feel like it was a culmination of my entire life leading up to the point when that story idea hit me. I wrote the story that the 16-year-old me needed. I was inspired by the love and loss I experienced and saw all around me.
