Which one of your books, or a book from an author, would you recommend reading after reading Ella Enchanted? I adore that book and just read it for a second time, and am craving more of the same type of adventure and characters. Thank you!

Gail Carson Levine Thank you! FAIREST also takes place in the world of ELLA ENCHANTED, and THE TWO PRINCESSES OF BAMARRE is an original fairy tale, so you may enjoy those. The book that caused me to write ELLA is BEAUTY by Robin McKinley. And Donna Jo Napoli wrote a different retelling of the fairy tale, called BEAST. Shannon Hale also writes excellent fairy tale retellings.
