I loved the book "The Edge of the Orchard". I would LOVE to see a sequel that tells what happens to Robert and Molly when they arrive in England; what happens with their children; if the sequoias and redwoods grow in England and Wales and what impact that growth has on those communities. Do you think there is any chance of that happening?

(view spoiler)[Hi Gerry--
Glad you liked it! You are not the only reader to ask for a sequel, but I think that's unlikely. However, I CAN tell you that there really does exist a redwood grove on the English/Welsh border, planted in 1857, and it's doing just fine - which to me means Robert and Molly are too.

Hi Tracy! I've read all of your books and I absolutely loved them. Each one of them is a whole new experience and through the characters and situations you are able to involve and transport the reader into the story and specific places. So my question is: How do you decide what your next book will be about and once you have decided the central plot, how long does it lasts the investigation period?

Hello! I enjoy your books very much! I do a fair amount of audio reading as I work on the road. I have an odd question. At some point, I read a novel with a section in which a doll maker discussed why she makes dolls. It was so poignant that I stopped the car and transcribed a whole paragraph, but have lost the paper. Was this in a book of yours? I've looked. I'm a fiber artist interested in dolls. TY!!
