Hi Caroline, "You" was a really exceptional book-so original- I felt I could not stop reading it and when it was done I felt like I had done something wrong--really a weird vibe... Bravo... but, why did you change Amy's eye color from chestnut in "You" to blue in your sequel "Hidden Bodies"? This is driving me crazy-aside from Joe making me really scared and creeped out-What color are his eyes/hair? I need to know.

Caroline Kepnes You have a great eye, Giulia! Amy is using colored contacts, which is why her eyes are chestnut in the first book, blue in the second book. This part got cut out of the final version. And this was one of those character points, Amy is a person who would use color contacts. Like really work them. Joe has dark brown hair and intense eyes. Oh very intense. I picture them being brown, but above all, they grab onto you and maybe scare you. And entice you. :)
