NOS4A2 was my first Hill and I hated it (although I had really high expectations). I think I'm willing to give him a second chance because the premise of this book looks great, but was wondering if they are similar? - not in story obviously but stylistically I guess?

4th-20TH Century Ghosts, sporadic reading. Unable to read much in a sitting. Back and Forth. Will give "My Fathers Mask" a whirl as suggested below.
5th- I'll give "The Fireman" a shot, though I'm feeling each selection gets weaker , not better. Possible burn out???(less)
