NOS4A2 was my first Hill and I hated it (although I had really high expectations). I think I'm willing to give him a second chance because the premise of this book looks great, but was wondering if they are similar? - not in story obviously but stylistically I guess?

Though I loved NOS4A2, this is most definitely raising the bar. As a die hard King fan, I think this novel has a level of maturity and imaginative depth that rivals some of his father's best work. It's no IT or Dark Tower. But it's damn close. And this one doesn't just reference the DT universe, it is in it. There are unmistakable ties. Read it. You'll like it.(less)
