NOS4A2 was my first Hill and I hated it (although I had really high expectations). I think I'm willing to give him a second chance because the premise of this book looks great, but was wondering if they are similar? - not in story obviously but stylistically I guess?

My first JH was Horns (before the god awful movie) and I was in love with his writing. My husband's favorite is Heart Shaped Box. Hub and I both preordered Fireman (have not read it yet though) and we're very excited. I'd say give JH another chance and then of you don't like it, you can write him off as an author that is not for you :)(less)
