Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Ruth Axtell I got the idea for Love's Rebellious Flame, the very first book I ever wrote (but my latest release), from a college friend. She wanted to write a historical romance and we decided to collaborate. We picked this period in history, because her family was Polish and we began researching its history. 1830 offered a lot of potential, from revolution to wonderful cultural richness.
