Hey, Katiana - any relation to the author Kari Luna (and there is also another author in Portland with nearly the same name, Cari Luna).
Probably my favorite book is Girl, Stolen (although I love all of them, of course). My editor at the time did not like the book and wanted it rewritten from Griffin's point of view. He said he would "probably" buy it then. I really wanted a sale, but it just felt like the wrong idea. So I screwed up my courage and told my agent to take it elsewhere. The editor who bought it loved it just the way it was and it has won many awards. So maybe since it came so close to not being published or not being published in that form, it's my favorite.
