Annika
Annika asked Gail Carson Levine:

Why did you mostly only write fairy tales?

Gail Carson Levine I often go to fairy tales because they touch profound feelings in us. And I love how funny and illogical they are. And because they already have plots!

More Answered Questions

Lórien Dancer
Lórien Dancer asked Gail Carson Levine:

Is there a story you have always wanted to write but never had the chance or felt to afraid to write?

Ana Lucia
Ana Lucia asked Gail Carson Levine:

What is OGRE ENCHANTED going to be about? And I know this question is a little odd, but do you think that any of your books could be potential portals to other worlds? For example, like a fairy-tale world?

V-girl
V-girl asked Gail Carson Levine:

Ok, first off: I ADORE your books! Especially Ella Enchanted. Ella feels like an old friend to me at this point, and her story claims a very large percentage of my original inspiration to begin my writing journey. Second: Would you consider collaborating with other authors in the future? (I personally believe that your writing would blend nicely with Jennifer A. Nielson's.)
