I can't wait to read your book, with that said how hard was it for you to write about this? Is the book based on your life?

Meredith Russo The book is based on my life in the sense that many of the characters are made up of different parts of people I have known, in that Lambertville is a better version of a place where I spent a lot of my youth, and in that Amanda is trans and I know what being trans is like, but there are also huge parts of it that aren't -- I didn't transition when I was young, I'm not straight, etc.
