How do you get inspired to write?

Jessica Jude I once read a quote by Peter De Vries that changed my life. “I write when I’m inspired, and I see to it that I’m inspired at nine o’clock every morning.” In 2022 I made the commitment to write six days a week, and other than the occasional short break, I’ve kept that commitment every day at 5:45am since then.
