The perennial question - where do ideas come from? Recently I wrote a religious horror thriller of 90,000 words - The Extraordinary Temptation. This was based on half a sentence that floated into my head while driving a car. Three years later the story was finished. Have you had similar experience? Regards Patrick.

all the time, I saw an empty train car and it became "Phases" An open field near an army base became "Mystic Valley" A family member with Alzheimers became "Of Jeebies and Journeys". Ideas are everywhere, it's all in how you view life.
