I am a freshman but I still really loved the book and the 21st chapter was even better than expected I loved it and would own it any day still very evil and hated by mot parents but if I am to be a clockwork orange I would rather die.

I suppose that depends on what you're used to and what you enjoy. Is it inappropriate? I do not think so, but there is material in there that is definitely meant for mature audiences (topics such as rape, murder, torture, etc.) It takes a certain level of maturity to understand why such provocative material has a place in this book. As far as the book being scary is concerned, I did not really find it scary. There were parts that were very disturbing and difficult to read (like I said, rape and torture). If you have a pretty firm stomach, it shouldn't be a problem. If not, this may not be the book for you.
I thought this was a very well written book, but it's not for everybody. But if you like thought provoking books and don't mind having to wade through pages of gut-wrenching material, you may like this book. Hope this helps!
