Hello Clare, I see you are in Ireland? We were there a few years ago, beautiful country & landscape, but not too many trees & forests. I see that you have forestry operations underway to restore your forests & I saw timber trucks with small trees on them. I understand you are planting some American species like Doug fir Sitka spruce etc. You are doing a great job with this group. JK

Thanks for your comment. Yes, Ireland is keen to expand forested land and encourage biodiversity, not just spruces.

Hello Clare. I keep receiving notices about how many books you have added to your list. Not sure whether it's a to-read list, a recommended list, or... But I'm in a quandary wondering just how many books it is possible even to list, day after day, month after month, year after year. It would seem that you probably read half a dozen books a day.
