Hello, not so much a question for Werner. I agree with his view about advertising books. Over time it's tedious to get sales pitches. Now a question. You have a lot of activity. How long have you been on Goodreads? I'm new. Still trying to figure out how to get around and not post in the wrong place.

Werner A. Lind Lenore, I joined Goodreads in February, 2008; so I've been a member for a bit over eight years. As your question implies, your activity on Goodreads tends to increase the longer you're a member, as you acquire more friends and get involved in more groups. But I also determined from the beginning to review all of the books I read after joining here, and to list all of those I'd read before joining (and review as many as possible). And I made time from the start to be on the site every day, exploring, liking reviews, etc.
