How have Shakespeare's plays and poetry influenced your writing?

Christopher Moore I think the language of Shakespeare has influenced me more than anything, the rhythm of it, the metaphor that flows into the drama without stopping to call attention to itself. Reading (or listening to) Shakespeare when I'm writing always makes me want to raise my game, invent new words, be better.
