Aside from Star Wars, have you ever thought of adapting other famous movies into Shakespearian plays?

Ian Doescher The one I'd really love to do is William Shakespeare's The Princess Bride. We'll see. I get a lot of requests to do Shakespeare's Lord of the Rings, but my thought about that is: why read Doescher when you could just read Tolkien? :-) (The same argument, of course, could be made for The Princess Bride, but I think you could do some fun things doing a mix of the film and book versions with that one.) The *real* answer is that it's probably unlikely I'll tackle something beyond Star Wars (except for A Christmas Carol, which I self-published this past December).
