A general weariness with social media which, these days, seems characterized by the inability to look beyond the range of a selfie. The lack of empathy and imagination, the inability to view anything from the other person's perspective, the glorification of personal opinion over facts, the instant taking to blogging and speechifying rather than ever just...talking to each other one-on-one.
And because of all that, the lack of any real and meaningful dialog on some very serious issues that affect our genre.

Hi Josh! Just finished another re-read of my favorite "This Rough Magic" and found an excerpt of the sequel on your website. I know it's been a while but please please please do finish this sequel :-) There are readers out here much appreciating your wonderful historicals!
