Hi Chris, really really enjoy your books and think your books are amazingly written and can't wait for the movie! My question is, who was your biggest influence or role model in pushing yourself to become a writer? And if you met them for the first time, what would you say?
Chris Kuzneski
Without question, my biggest influence was Clive Cussler. I grew up reading his Dirk Pitt series, and they had a profound impact on how I write: the way I pace my chapters, the way I interweave multiple storylines, and the way I use humor to break the tension of suspenseful scenes.
Thanks to some writer friends of mine, I recently had the opportunity to visit Clive at his house in Arizona. We spent the day talking about his career, his passions (cars & shipwrecks), and a multitude of other things. It is truly a day I'll never forget.

Dear Chris, As you already know you're my favorite writer. :) Just out of curiosity, what are the religions of Payne and Jones? I would just like to know more about their cultural up bringing and this may sound silly but I'm just wondering if their connect (or disconnect) with religion helped evolve their behavior / sense of humor? or is it completely not related to their character? Thanks, Best wishes.

Hi, I've just finished The Prisoner's Gold (which was awesome by the way!) and was wondering when the fourth book would be out, presuming there will be a fourth? Sorry if I've asked twice now but the first time my tablet fritzed out so I'm not sure of the question went through.
