Hello! I was wondering if you have to read the Dawn of the Clans series to understand this book? I really couldn't get into the books so I stopped reading at book three. Also Do you have to read any of the Super Editions to understand this book better?

You don't have to read Dawn of The Clans, (it's a prequel) but I would recommend reading at least Bramblestar's Storm and Firestar's Quest. If you enjoy Firestar's Quest then I would also read SkyClan's destiny. This series features a lot of new characters and a few of the main old ones, so it could still be confusing, but Bramblestar's Storm should give you some backstory.

Dawn of the Clans is not a good place to start this series of books. Begin with Book 1 "Into the Wild" and read the books in order. If you don't like book 1, this may not be the series for you.
If you want to plunge in, then do as suggested below and read the Firestars' Quest and Bramblestars' Storm. Then begin the Apprentice's Quest Book 1.

If I were you I would read BrambleStars storm and FireStars Quest. But other then that I don't think you have to read any if the Swan Of The Clans books.

I would recommend reading The prophecy begins, the new prophecy, power of three, and omen of the stars first. They are really good!

You don't have to read Dawn of the Clans. I personally think Dawn of the Clans isn't that good so I stopped reading it after the first book. But I read the entire series besides Dawn of the Clans. The series is REALLY GOOD! You don't have to read the Super Editions either. Just start from Into The Wild, Book 1.

You don't really have to read the super edition to go along with the main series. The super editions only talks about a certain cat's life in each one.

You might want to consider reading most of the books of the first series, starting with the book Into the Wild, to really understand the warrior code. Afterwards, it`s up to you if you chose to keep reading all the books up to this one, or just skip the rest and read this. It`s a great book, and I`m sure you`ll love & understand it now.

You might want to read Bramblestar's Storm and Dovewing's Silence before you read the book. That way some of the new characters you will know. And Dawn Of The Clans is waaaayyyyy before The Apprentices Quest, when they were traveling to the forest. By the time The Apprentice's Quest comes around, they're at the lake. So you don't have to read Dawn Of The Clans before The Apprentice's Quest.
