Martha, I'm one of those people that when I love something, everyone around me must love it as well. That being said, many of my friends are reading your book now. You did an amazing job of bringing this unknown history to life and certainly raised my awareness. Thank you so much. I have no questions but have to put in a question mark or my message won't go through! ? Cheryl Lovett

Hi Cheryl,
Thanks for spreading the word! I'm just thrilled you liked Lilac Girls--it was such a labor of love and I never tire of hearing how it raised awareness of the story--from the beginning my major goal. I just felt like these women deserved to have their stories told; after all they went through it only seemed fair!
So appreciate you reaching out.
xx

When can we expect the prequel? I loved how you intertwined the lives of these women and how one small thing can change the lives of many. I gave it to my stepdaughter. She loved The Nightingale and I thought Lilac Girls was as good if not better. I am anxiously awaiting your next book.

I am almost finished with Lilac Girls and I am depressed. I do NOT want this book to be over. I have enjoyed reading it so much. I have such an interest in the Holocaust and WW2 and it is so obvious how much research you put into writing this book. I am just thrilled that you are writing a prequel and I will definitely be buying it asap! What time period will the prequel start?

Loved Lilac Girls and looking forward to Lost Roses. Wishing you would consider researching and bringing your brilliant skill to bear on the intersecting lives of heroines of the 1950's & 1960s, Drs. Mary Sherman, Bernice Eddy, Sarah Stewart and Ruth Kirschstein. Their intersecting lives and careers exemplify fact being more astonishing than fiction. Might you be interested?
