Have you ever wanted to be anything other than a writer?

Jan Needle Not really. I wrote my first published story when I was eight. Not because it was any good, but because my dad used to edit the local labour party news letter. He put it in because my spelling was so funny, the cheeky swine! But I never stopped writing. And in the end my spelling was pretty good!
