Did Samael suspect that Raum had a plan to free the draconians, or was the tracker in Yana's toy a precaution?

Annette Marie Knowing Samael, it was probably a bit of both. He might have had suspicions, but even if he hadn't, he would have had many fail-safes in place in the event of an escape. Raum managed to identify or counter almost all of them -- missing only the toy.

Hi! I just want to say I really loved Chase The Dark, I just finished it today and holy crap what a ride :D I love Ash & Lyre, Lyre is awesome. I already bought the next two books so i'm ready to go! Ok, so...I might have skipped over this part or something but I was really confused( I get confused a lot....) Is Pipers mom a haemon? I remember reading about how female haemons die?
