I'm loving your series so far, I've just finished Knight's Shadow a few days ago and am eager to get my hands on Saint's Blood. I saw on another question you answered that there would be novella's connecting the books, or possibly some prequels? Any news in that area? Also, are you still working on the mystery? I'm eager for Spellslinger- it sounds great!

Hi Wayne,
I'm delighted that you're enjoying the Greatcoats Series! I haven't written any novellas or prequels as yet as the Spellslinger books have been occupying all my time in-between the Greatcoats ones. I am still working (in between those two series!) on the new mystery which I hope to have finished this year. It's an ambitious book so I'm taking my time with it.
I do hope you enjoy Spellslinger when it comes out. You can see a short excerpt of the first book in the series at www.spelllslingerbook.com.
Regards,
Sebastien

I know you have plans for another series featuring different characters with maybe some walk on parts for our beloved Falcio, Kest, and Brasti. Being a fan of those characters, that is like offering a child a piece of candy but only allowing one lick and then taking it away. Like Michael J Sullivan has done with his Riyria characters, maybe, you could give us some standalone books featuring our favorite Greatcoats?

I'm rereading the Greatcoats series and am currently at Saint's Blood, so forgive me if I got some facts from Tyrant's Throne wrong (don't bother to answer if I did). In Knight's Shadow, Shuran mentions that Saints can't bear children with normal humans yet I remember Ethalia being pregnant with Falcio's child at the end of TT. Does that mean Falcio was Falcio-who-fucking-never-learns, the Saint of Valour, all along?
