'Early Riser'. a thriller set in a world where humans have always hibernated. The key word in that sentence is 'always', so we are subtly different, socially, physically, emotionally. It's the only single line pitch I've ever been able to give, and will be out, hopefully, in 2017.

Hi Mr. Fforde-- First, I want you to know that your Thursday Next books were, and still continue to be, a source of absolute wonder and joy in my life. I'm currently getting a double Master's degrees in Shakespeare, so this is a delight for me. So. My question: If you could change one major thing from any Shakespeare play of your choice, what would you change and how would it affect the rest of the narrative?

Half way through The Eyre Affair and must admit to being a late bloomer to the Thursday Next series, I stumbled onto the seventh book at my library and loved the outline. How do you not get confused with the intricate storylines? Is everything planned in advance or do you finish a draft and just think you can push the mythology a little further? Love the series and can't wait to get onto Lost in a Good Book.
