Quick question for you guys...I started reading the Kay Scarpetta series years ago but can't remember which book in that series I read last. Should I start over or pick one of the others? What do you guys think?

I have read and enjoyed all of Patricia Cornwell's books except her children's book but including "…moreWhy are there only females answering this question?
I have read and enjoyed all of Patricia Cornwell's books except her children's book but including "Portrait of a Killer: Jack the Ripper—Case Closed" which I did not find compelling nor up to her standards.
I began reading her work back in the early 90s therefore have read in sequence.
I have a recurring concern: to me her endings always seem to be rushed and not as interesting as the body of each work. Does anyone else have that sense about her endings.(less)
