Lauraine I'm a long time Blessing fan and I was wondering if you plan to start a new historical series set with all new characters in a new area? Hope you are healing!!

Hello Christy,
I have just started writing my newest historical series. In fact, I am only a few pages into the first manuscript. At this point, we do not even have a name for the series yet! However, I can give you a few hints... The books are set in the Blackduck area of Minnesota in the early 1900's and features a new family of Norwegian immigrants. Readers familiar with Blessing may recognize the family as descendants of Ingeborg's childhood friend, Gunlaug, but this is not a Blessing series. I suppose you could say that it runs parallel to Blessing books but is in fact a new series with new characters set in a new area. Blessings, Lauraine

Hi. I am really looking forward to the new Blessing book coming out later this year. Also, the new historical series you're working on sounds brilliant. However, will this year's book be the last we see of all the characters in Blessing? I'm really hoping not, because we've all come to know and love them so much. I don't have a question, but I am reading "A Promise for Ellie" right now. This makes me really happy and excited to hear about a new novel that you are writing. I am very thankful to the good Lord above for healing you. I have been in some car accidents over the years. I know how frightening they can be. Getting over the hurdles afterwards takes time. What would we do without the Great Physician to heal us?

Hi Lauraine!! I LOVE your books sooo much!!! You are my most favourite author EVER!! I have LOVED your Golden Filly series (I have the whole series!!) I also love your Red River series (also have the whole series!) and I just finished reading “One Perfect Day.” I have a book blog and reccomend all of your books on it! Okay, so my question is, will you be making another book on the Golden Filly series?
