Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Shanice Williams I've been gaming since I was like, twelve. Growing up in a such a close-knit gaming community, I became witness to some of the most dramatic, angsty love raging moments between players. And then, when I experienced my own angsty, drama filled love story through the game, I knew I had to write about it.

Throw in the ever-growing e-sports community, the growing amount of female gamers out there (shoutout to you all :* ) The Gamers' Academy just fell into place.
