Hi Tommy! I'm currently reading WALU, and so far it's amazing! I actually loved the cover so much, i honestly never heard of you, but i saw in the bookstore and i fell in love with it! But my question is, i'm fifteen now, and i'm kinda addicted to reading and i would love to write books later, but i don't know yet.. i'd like to know, how was your relation with books and writing when you were fifteen years old?

Hey Judith,
I started trying to get published around 16. That's when I began sending things around to magazines and such. I first got published when I was a junior in high school, but that was a very lucky break. I started my first novel when I was 18, but nobody bought any of my books until was 30!
And of course, I've been reading obsessively for as long as I can remember. :)

Someone asked the community this; I found it interesting. I tried to answer it as best I could. They asked where the rising action, conclusion, and resolution was. I said that it didn't really happen between the 'asteroid vs earth' conflict, and instead the conflict was about throwing off labels. What do you think of this question? What was the main conflict to you? *Sorry it's so full of terms, we chart this in class

Okay so I read your book 'We all looked up' and it broke my heart honestly. The way I think of it, the book ended with a zero meaning they all died. I believe that if they hadn't died, there wouldn't be a page like that, it would just end. It wouldn't have that extra page and the fact that you included that, means that Ardor came and hit Earth and everyone died. Am I maybe right? I'm scared of your answer honestly.
