In your bio, you wrote, '2) I know how to end a series' and if killing all the favourite characters (Brianna, Jack, LP, Caine, and others) and leaving all the annoying characters alive (Astrid, Diana, Quinn, Sam - sometimes, actually not, he's whiny) and maybe by mistake doing something good (leaving Dekka alive, and Edilio, Roger) I wouldn't call that a good end to the series!!! Maybe others but not Gone!!?

You're looking for a happy ending, I want the right ending. Happy endings are easy, they take no skill. But they are also unsatisfying because everyone knows that happiness is temporary. A happy ending just kicks the can down the road, and the reader's only happy so long as they don't wonder, "Then what?" Life ends in death, kid, which is neither happy nor sad, but is true.

What was the most difficult part of the Gone series to write? Specifically, which moment of these adolescents losing the innocence they had? They all started the series as children; sure some where bullies or snobs, but through the series, many went to quite dark places. Was any specific moment more difficult to write than the others?

Hey Big fan of your books especially the Gone series with all its amazing character and thrilling story. Which character was your favorite and least favorite to write? Also how did you decide which powers each character would get like Sam and Cain for instance? Did you ever just give a character powers just to advance the story or did you always know which character will have powers?

You are my all time fravorit author. I love your work and I am absolutely in love with the gone series. But I finished them and have been reading your other books. I have read the whole Gone series three times through when I realized that all I wanted was a spin of series. Is it possible you could make a spinoff series on Gone? That would be my dream come true
