Lynn
Lynn asked Linwood Barclay:

I really enjoy the intricate plot lines, character development, and the range of emotions each scene is able to evoke on behalf of the characters and the situation presented by each of your stories. They always are riveting, making me care what happens to the characters, and flow from beginning to end. What do you believe is the most important part of the relationship between the author and his story?

Linwood Barclay Hi Lynn, and thanks for the kind words, and the question. These are the types of questions I never really think about until someone asks, so I have to think. The author IS the story, and vice versa, I think. But if you're asking what's the most important thing I'm thinking about as I write, it's "keep it moving." The story is like a shark. If it stops moving, it dies. If I'm bored, the reader is bored.
