Do you write with paper or with a computer? Or both? Or do you write on paper, then later type up the draft?

Michael Grant I never touch paper at any point. I write on my laptop and email the final manuscript to my editor. She marks it up and sends it back, I go through it and fire it off again. Then it goes to copy editing (spelling, grammar,etc...) and I go over it once more.

No paper.

Hi! My name is Abi Ortiz, And I am a HUGE fan of the Gone series! I am currently searching all the public libraries in my area for Plague, but the series is really hard to find in this small town. I had to actually make a library pin and go through a bunch of stuff just to be able to request Plague from another state! I'm a writer, my question is; Have you ever had writer's block? If so, how do you get past it?

Great answer, Michael! Also, if you have no problem speaking it, why not invest in Dragon Naturally Speaking and dictate it! In all the writing workshops I've taken, the mantra is "WRITE FORWARD!" Just get it out, mistakes be damned, and worry about editing when you actually have a manuscript in your hands! Good luck! ?
