Goodreads asked Abigail Zelda Alder:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Abigail Zelda Alder Writer's block is for people who really don't have a clue what they are writing. I plot the smallest detail out and I can always jump into my stories.

When you earn your living writing, writer's block isn't just a problem.

If you can't write, look deeper for the reason. Maybe your story isn't working. Maybe there are problems you haven't recognized. If you can't work up enthusiasm needed to write the story, the reader certainly won't care to read it.
