Firstly, congratulations on your debut novel! I really loved it! It's such a great mix of genres. Probably the best gay centered suspense novel I've read! I'd be interested in hearing about who your author influences are. And could you tell us anything about the other books you mentioned that are in queue for this year? Thanks. Michael

Thank you, Mike! That's a huge compliment! I'm totally delighted that you enjoyed it! Great question about who my influences are. I've spent a few days thinking about it. I can say that I like Tom Clancy, Clive Cussler, etc., but I can also say that I prefer stories with more emotional depth. Many of their stories are more action oriented. I wanted to craft a middle way, incorporating emotionally deeper novels (say, like Nicolas Sparks) with the suspense, action, and tension of a thriller. I like pulp military books, that you can buy and read on a plane ride, but I was always disappointed at the superficial emotions in those stories. So, I made my own. :)
I have several books planned for this year! First up, next month on May 2nd, is a paranormal thriller set in the Vatican. Secret societies, ancient military orders, and paranormal mystery. It's a fun one, and it's the start to another series. Enemies will have their sequel as well. I also have a few stand alone stories planned. A military story set in Iraq, a dramatic story about escaping the current Middle East as a gay couple, and a few ore surprises. I hope you continue to enjoy them!
Thank you again!!

'Enemies of the State' was a solid 6 (out of 5) for me. I've been listening mainly to audiobooks over the last 2 years, but this book blurb pulled me in AND I couldn't put it down. Solid plot. Great characters and dialogue. Great suspense, yet romantic. Very believable GFY story. Thanks for writing such a wonderful book. Kudos! :-) Ah. The question? When will we be able to read more about Ethan and Jack? :-)
