Goodreads asked Bibi Boom:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Bibi Boom I would advise the same as I was advised by a fellow author: start participating in writing competitions. There are dozens of writing competitions every year, on all possible themes and genres. Most are for short stories, which is not only practical because it is far less time consuming to write a short story than it is to write a full novel, but the word limit also helps you say only what needs to be said to tell your story. Also, the fact that most competitions have a theme or a subject within which your story should fit. This helps you channel your creativity and come up with something original within the provided framework. And the third bonus is that, if you're getting a hang of it, publishers might start noticing your work and remember your name.
